Welcome to Hyghclere Alpacas!
We are Erin and Scott Marsden and we started our alpaca journey over 10 years ago. Hyghclere is located on 300 acres in Lewis Ponds, 15km from Orange NSW.
We first fell in love with the alpacas after getting a couple of old wethers to guard some goats that we had working as lawn mowers. And once our first cria was born that was it we were totally hooked.
The alpacas are a hobby that we both share and we love showing our alpacas and have become part of a wonderful alpaca community.
We are grateful to be members of the Australian Alpaca Association who provide a wealth of information!
We are now working hard at improving our herd with every new generation that is born, focusing more and more on the lovely medium/dark fawn and brown colours!
